We have an opening for a research assistant position working in the Computational Biomedicine Laboratory in the Computer Science Department. The position entails tackling an important and exciting medical image analysis problem in a collaborative effort with institutions at the Texas Medical Center.

Experience in signal or image analysis and object-oriented programming is desirable but not necessary.

The Computational Biomedicine Laboratory is a cutting-edge research facility at the University Houston with many ongoing projects in the fields of Biomedical Image Analysis, Computational Biomedicine and Multispectral Biometrics. We have continued collaborations with Baylor College of Medicine, Methodist Hospital, and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. You can learn about our research and the many people involved in our projects at the following website: http://www.cbl.uh.edu.
